Interpol adds Nunun to wanted list

Graft suspect Nunun Nurbaeti has been added to the Interpol wanted list.
Nunun, the wife of former National Police deputy chief Adang Daradjatun, is suspected of paying bribes to several legislators involved in the appointment of a senior post at the central bank in 2004.
Nunun has avoided questioning by Indonesian authorities because of a medical condition described by members of her family as "chronic amnesia". She reportedly left Indonesia to seek treatment for this condition in Singapore, but subsequent investigations into her whereabouts indicated that she had also been to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. At present, Nunun's whereabouts is officially unknown.
According to the Interpol website, Nunun is suspected of committing fraud. It says a warrant for her arrest has been issued by the Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
The website urges anyone with information on Nunun's whereabouts to contact local or national police.
Interpol is the world’s largest international police organization, with 188 member countries. Created in 1923, it facilitates cross-border police co-operation, and supports and assists all organizations, authorities and services whose mission is to prevent or combat international crime.
