iPhone 4S and iPad 3 for September?

There have been rumours abound of Apple launching the next iPhone in September, maybe even alongside the next-generation iPad. Some of them have suggested the release of the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 with a Retina Display, and others still predicting that the Cupertino-based company would merely announce the iPhone 4S, a slight upgrade from the current model. The latest rumour comes from Macotakara.jp, saying Apple would begin iPhone 4S production in September then bringing it to the market with the iPad 3.



The supposed iPhone launch corroborates an earlier report in terms of release timing, but also claims the iPad 3 would not be released until next year. Macotakara.jp also mentions an iPhone 5, but that it ‘does not have any information’ on it. The iPhone 5 is likely for a late-September slot next year, or so reports say.
